Jardines de Barcelona - Vespres - Places to Be

Last week as we were passing by the gardens of the University of Barcelona we noticed that there
was a party going on. We stayed there for a while and made sure to come back later that day, as they
had all kinds of events from live concerts to parties with Djs taking place all day long.
The atmosphere was great as the garden is a really pleasant place, full of trees, that provide shade and fresh air, there we a lot of young and happy people enjoying the surroundings, the events, the served
foods and drinks, as ourselves.  We'll make sure to keep a close eye on the future happenings there
since we had a great time. Wish you all a wonderful week.

This week's - Places to be - Photo Diary - Pez Vela

For this weeks "Places to be" we went to Pez Vela in Barcelona. It's a cool restaurant and bar,
right at the beach in the Barceloneta neighborhood.
It's alignment gives it an amazing view over the sea and the beach. Once we got close we
had a familiar, good feeling since there was a dj on the terrace and he was playing nice, chill music.
The terrace was full by the way, so once we sat down inside,  our focus turned onto the places minimalist design
and the amazing attention to details, they have some really comfy sofa/chairs by the way.
We ordered tea and a salad. They have all kinds of meat, fish , but vegetarian dishes as well.
We were happy with our order and the staff was friendly.
We'll definitely return to this place some time soon.

Valencia In Fallas – The Biggest And Craziest Festival In Spain, Happening Right Now

One of the biggest and craziest festivals in Spain is taking place right now.
Yes, it’s the Fallas of Valencia. The 5 days long party has already started. The streets are crowded by people, there are parties all over the place, bands are marching, people are drinking and dancing on the street, children are throwing fireworks continuously and tourists and locals are walking around while amazed by the size and detail of the built monuments on nearly every major square or street in the center of Valencia. Every day at around 2pm there are fireworks, called La Mascleta, in front of the city hall and in just a few days these hand built monuments often reaching a height of 20-30 meters will be burnt by fireworks in a spectacular way in during the ceremony called La Crema. I decided to share a few pictures from last years and this years fallas. Hope you enjoy them.

Carrieres de Lumieres - Breathtakingly spectacular

Carrieres de Lumieres is one of the most amazing places I have seen lately.
I thought of sharing a few pictures I took since I consider it a place that should not be missed if you’re visiting the south of France.
It’s an art gallery where images are combined with music in a spectacular manner. The gallery is actually inside a cave near Les Baux de Provence close to other tourist attractions.
Hope you enjoy the photos, and you’ll certainly enjoy the gallery.
