This Week’s Places To Be - Photo Diary - Nomad Coffee

My boyfriend is a big coffee lover and as Christmas is just around the corner, he decided to buy some coffee for the loved ones.
We went to Nomad, a coffee roasting shop in Barcelona. We visited the “show room” and tried out
one of its coffees and cookies. The place is really one to recommend to those who love coffee.

about me and YoguiOla

Hi, I just noticed I didn’t tell you about the magazine I have been collaborating with. It’s been a year
now since I started working  on the photography and design part of the YoguiOla magazine.
It’s a magazine from Valencia, started as local and now is getting more and more national.
If you can understand Spanish I recommend you to read it, you can find the link to it here.

Barcelona - December - Places to be

If you happen to be in Barcelona in December, don’t forget to visit one of the Winter Markets.
This weekend I have been to two actually, one called Fantastic and the other one Festivalet.
The organizers did a great job, there are a lot of authentic products from local designers, everything well thought of for Christmas presents.
But not only, you could even go just to hang out, as they have music and food prepared as well.
Among the products you could find clothes, jewellery, cosmetics, decorations and so on.
Next weekend, no exceptions as another popular markets are coming up.

Chia Pudding

I shared the following recipe a lot of times lately with my family and my friends, because they loved the taste of this pudding when they tried it in my home.
So I thought of making a small post so you can also try it out as well.
It's chia pudding !
If you don't know about it, chia seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, they are a great source of iron, magnesium, zinc, calcium and many others minerals and vitamins. They’re delicious and good for your body! Here I'll leave you a link to a more detailed article about chia seeds properties: http://authoritynutrition.com/11-proven-health-benefits-of-chia-seeds/

Since I discovered it, it had become my favorite thing for breakfast.
I use it a lot in smoothies or mixed with fruits, yogurt and seeds.

How to do it:
Mix chia seeds with vegetal ( almond/ coconut/ rice...) milk, add panela as a healthy sweetener, or brown rice syrup, or honey, add optional ingredients like cinnamon, vanilla. Put it in a small bowl or glass mason jar.
After 5 minutes, mix it again because  it will drop to the bottom.
Then let it set in refrigerator overnight (or at least 30 minutes).

Remove it from the fridge, and make sure your pudding looks thick and the chia seeds have gelled. Top with fresh fruit and nuts, and enjoy.

Hi there,
You must have noticed the recent lack of activity  on my blog but everything is for a good reason.
I had and still have quite a busy period, I'm not complaining or anything,  in fact I really like it and I'm grateful for it :)
So here I'd like to share with you a summary of two photo sessions I took with beautiful yoga teachers here in Barcelona: Yana, Katya and Emily.
If you wonder about their cool printed leggings I can tell you that they are from My Mantra Active Wear, check their website for more info and interesting products: http://mymantraactive.com.
Wish you a lovely week,
Greetings from Barcelona.
