Cafe Begur

We’ve recently visited Begur twice.

During our first trip we stumbled upon this great place in the old city center called CafeBegur.

It was time for dessert, by the time we got there, so we made sure check out some of their finest.

We not only enjoyed our treats but the place itself, as it had an “oriental” design and feel to it.

Next time we got to Begur we wanted to share the experience so we brought along two friends and

stayed for lunch. We weren’t disappointed, lunch was great, and our friends shared the same opinion.

today

Today we went to the Gracia neighborhood, it's our favorite one in Barcelona, especially this week,
since it's all nicely decorated for the 'Festes de Gracia'.

We found a new vegan shop and bought some tiramisu and cookies, ate some vegetarian empanadas,
did some shopping from a tibetan store, and headed home on an electric scooter, shot some pics for
some clothes, reorganized the house, and then sat back and relaxed.

Quite a busy day, but fun for sure!

weekend with Andrei Ram

This Easter was a bit different for me. I had spent the weekend attending the yoga teachers training at

the new YogaOne Mandri studio. We had an intense weekend with yoga classes held by Andrei Ram

and live music and kirtan with Ravi Ramoneda :) It was quite an interesting experience, that's why

I'm thought of writing this post to share it with you.

The practice was soft and profound and the satsangs were incredible.

One other great thing about Barcelona!

There are many great things about living in Barcelona,

but one of them I haven’t mentioned yet is how great is to have mountains and beaches so close to you.

Last week, for example, we decided to go skiing in the catalan Pyrenees, it was just a short trip from Barcelona,

we could enjoy the day at the ski resort, and get back home by night.

Skiing is not my thing, but it’s never too late to learn something new, right?

yoga everywhere

I just took some pictures of Yana, a yogui friend from Barcelona.

We went to a nice Botanic park near me and she did her practice on the hot yoga towel from

YogaDesignLab. This towel is a great alternative in case you don’t feel like carrying a mat around all

the time. On the other hand it’s great since it’s mat sized, non-slip, very absorbent so it comes in

handy for an intense practice and it’s eco-friendly too.

This week’s places to be - Photo Diary - Barcelona Yoga Conference

For me the place to be this week is the Barcelona Yoga Conference !

I am happy to have the opportunity to take photos of the events and enjoy all the activities of this

great yoga celebration.

The yoga conference is being held at 'Escola del Sagrat Cor’, the location has good vibes overall,

and there are a lot of different simultaneous activities lead by remarkable yoga teachers to chose from.

There are also village stands to try something from the best yoga goodies you can imagine.

Descubriendo Catalunya - Playa del Garraf

I went to the beach of Garraf the other day, on a beautiful morning. I love sunrises at the beach, it’s a pity that I don’t wake up early more often. The view of the beach with the small fisherman houses was really cute. Playa del Garraf is a really small beach, close to Barcelona, and on that morning it was very quiet and peaceful, just as I like it, although it might get more crowded in the afternoon, since it’s easy to reach. I’ll be visiting and reviewing more beaches and places close-by so stay tuned.
